Our Approach

At Saive, we design denim bags in Melbourne that not only look good but do good. Our material supplier works with GRS-certified recycled cotton. The recycled cotton used in our denim comes from pre-consumer waste, including cotton offcuts and unused materials generated during textile and yarn production, before they reach the consumer.

This cotton is mechanically processed back into fibre, spun into new yarn, then woven and finished into denim fabric. By giving existing cotton a new purpose, we make thoughtful use of materials already in circulation.

From Fabric to Finished Bag

The cotton recycling takes place within the yarn and fabric supply chain. Our bag factory sources the finished recycled denim, then cuts, sews and assembles it into our designs. We design our bags in Melbourne and produce them in small batches, with practical shapes and details made for everyday wear.
